Snakes everywhere... 5 snakes found within every 10 feet, learn about this dangerous place

Image
If you love snakes and herpetology is your favorite subject, then you must know about this place. A snake-island that is just off the coast of Brazil. Here you will find snakes at every step. If the world's most poisonous snake is not found anywhere, it must be here. This is the only place on earth where you can see the golden lancehead snake. This species of snake is so deadly that the island has become inaccessible to people. The real name of this snake-island is "Ilha da Quimada Grande". It is only 90 miles from Sao Paulo. People cannot visit the island. It is the Brazilian Navy that decides who is allowed or not to visit the island, a step taken to ensure their own safety as well as the safety of the snakes. However, some scientists and naval officers could visit the island. It is impossible to visit this island and not encounter snakes. 5 snakes per square meter must be found here. The population of dangerous snakes is so much here that even birds are afraid to co

Artificial microplastics have been discovered by scientists near the South Pole

Image
- Antarctic animals and sea birds can inhale them New delhi date. 28 November 2022, Monday Plastic pollution in the Antarctic is now as bad as anywhere on Earth. Scientists have found artificial microplastics in air, seawater, sediment and ice near the South Pole. The Oxford University team found microplastics in air, seawater and sea ice in the Waddell Sea near the South Pole. This is a form of fibrous polyester, which originates from fabrics made from synthetic materials such as polyester and acrylic. Most of the microfibers were found in air samples, meaning Antarctic animals and seabirds could have inhaled them.

China Tests Dangerous Hypersonic Engine, Now Dragon Fighter Jet Will Fly World's Fastest

Image
Rajkot, dt. 28 November 2022, Monday China recently tested one such hypersonic engine, which would give fighter jets supersonic speeds. The special feature of this engine is that it will have less noise along with its speed. Because when a fighter jet breaks the sound barrier there is a loud sonic boom. But this fighter jet will make no sound other than a sonic boom. It has its fuel behind it. China has used aviation kerosene instead of conventional hydrogen fuel in this engine. This fighter jet will fly at a speed of 11,113 kilometers per hour Indeed, no such technology has been developed so far. That a fighter jet could fly at such a speed that if it did, it would explode and its engine would explode. But now China has claimed that it has developed a hypersonic engine that can fly a fighter jet at a speed of 11,113 km per hour. The name of the engine of this fighter jet is kerosene based detonation engine. A detonation (explosion) engine generates a series of shockwaves to prope

Unique discovery by scientists: If you don't like living here on earth, you can live on 24 planets in space

Image
New delhi date. 28 November 2022, Monday Apart from Earth, there are 24 other planets in our universe where life is possible. Scientists believe that one of them is a planet where the possibility of human life is better than Earth. These planets are called super habitable planets. Dirk Schulz Makuch, an astrobiologist at the University of Washington and the Technical University of Berlin, said that we are constantly looking for planets with Earth-like potential. Schulz-Makuch and his team have identified 24 super-habitable planets. Life on a planet is better than Earth. A nearby planet called KOI 5715.01 is 550 million years old. Here it is orbiting an orange star 2965 light years away. The average temperature on its return may be about 2.4 degrees Celsius cooler than on Earth. But if it has more greenhouse gases than Earth to keep warm, it might be worth living here. In addition, life may be possible on planets that have Earth-like soil and that are divided into small Earth-like c

Now your medical reports can also be saved in DigiLocker

Image
As we have discussed earlier, with the help of DigiLocker service under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, we can save important certificates for ourselves in digital form. If we store the certificates issued by various government or non-government organizations in DigiLocker, they have legal validity as per the IT Act. That is, if we are asked for a hard copy of driving license or Aadhaar card, we can instead show the digital copy issued by that organization in DigiLocker. More and more various government and non-government organizations are getting involved in DigiLocker. Recently Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission has also integrated with DigiLocker. Due to this, now apart from our Kovid, other types of vaccination records , doctors' prescriptions , laboratory reports , hospital discharge summary etc. details can be stored in DigiLocker. Various types of health services are being linked together under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mis

Games in Microsoft Teams

Image
Over the past several years , the person who has a computer on their desk in the office has invariably enjoyed playing a solitaire game on the computer while stealing some time away from office work! You might also be one of them and have gone beyond solitaire and tried your hand at games like Minesweeper. All these Microsoft games have now been launched as separate apps in addition to the Windows operating system. And now there is news that it is also being added to Microsoft's Teams service. It is the experience of various companies that allowing employees to enjoy limited amount of games even during working hours increases their productivity. It will be interesting to see if Solitaire will be limited in use once it is added to Microsoft Teams!

Get your pension slip at home, on WhatsApp

Image
WhatsApp's UPI-based payment service did not catch on at all , but various banks are moving forward to provide different types of services on WhatsApp. As we have known earlier in ' Technoworld ' , a number of banks have now started providing various types of services with the help of chatbots on WhatsApp. All these services are mainly non-transaction type i.e. there is no direct transaction of rupees. Due to this, people have also started getting the opportunity to do various things related to their bank account on WhatsApp. Recently, State Bank of India has launched a new service on WhatsApp for its senior citizen account holders. Elders can get their pension slips at home with the help of this service. Till now, one had to go to the bank branch in person to get the pension slip. Informing about this service on Twitter, SBI has written that to take advantage of this service, pensioners have to save the number +919022690226 in their mobile and send a 'Hi'

E-reader fun, with color!

Image
You must know about e-reader. So many companies offer e-readers. But the name we are familiar with is Amazon Kindle , there are many different models of Kindle available. These models work on almost the same concept with increasingly fewer features - we can buy Kindle versions of books from the Amazon store , download them to our Kindle devices in the blink of an eye , and then start reading right away. Thus, we can download the free Kindle app in the smartphone or PC/laptop and read books in it , but the advantage of the Kindle e-reader, which is specially designed for reading, is that its screen display works differently than the display of a mobile or computer. The display of the e-reader gives a very paper-like feel and does not strain the eyes. The disadvantage of this display is that it cannot view other webpages as well as on a smartphone. Also, e-reader displays have been grayscale until recently. There are exciting changes coming from this year. E-readers with color di

Do you also make these 4 mistakes? So smartphones will explode, change these habits

Image
Ahmedabad, 25 November 2022, Friday There are many reports of smartphone cracking. People blame the mobile company for this. But, sometimes the customer can also be at fault. If there is no fault in the smartphone, the user's carelessness can cause the smartphone to explode or even catch fire. Possibility of explosion due to overload charging in smartphone A small carelessness of a mobile user can prove to be very harmful. In many cases the user's life can also be lost due to the phone bursting. In such a situation the phone should be used with caution. Everyone has their own capabilities, same is the case with phones. If your smartphone gets overloaded, it starts heating up. Excessive heat can be one of the causes of phone blast. For this reason we should keep 75-80 percent free in phone memory and not open many apps at once. Use original phone charger only The phone should always be charged with the original charger. Many times we ignore it. This can affect the battery

In the event of an emergency, the iPhone will be connected to the satellite!

Image
For a long time there was a discussion that Apple's iPhone will also come with satellite connectivity. Initially this was just a rumor , then Apple company confirmed it. Now this feature is going live soon. Of course for now this feature will only come in handy in emergency situations to get help by getting satellite connectivity. For this, the Apple company has taken the help of a company called Global Star , which will provide satellite connectivity to the iPhone with the help of its own satellites. This feature is currently available only in the newly launched iPhone 14. If you own an iPhone 14 , have the latest version of iOS, and live in the US or Canada, you will be able to take advantage of this feature ( it's not clear when this feature will be available in other countries , though!). iPhone users who fulfill all the above conditions will be able to send an emergency ' SOS ' request using their iPhone whenever they are in trouble and even when th

Gearing up to make Type-C chargers mandatory in smart devices

Image
What has been discussed for a long time is now likely to become effective soon. US Type-C charger will become mandatory for all smartphones sold in India. Some time ago the European Union took such a decision and made the use of the same charger port and cable mandatory for all types of devices like smartphones , laptops , tablets etc. Newer models of Android smartphones have started using Type-C. But Apple's iPhone and other devices still use different charger ports and cables. It is to be noted that the same charger port-cable rule in India will be applicable only for smartphones , laptops , tablets. This is yet to be decided for low-cost feature phones.

Image
If you are very active on social media, chances are you are active on both Facebook and Instagram. It may even happen that you are posting almost the same content on both! Ever since Facebook bought the Instagram service, the two platforms have been moving closer together. If you are active in digital marketing, a Facebook account allows you to manage your ads on both the Facebook and Instagram platforms. Similarly, an average user can easily share their content on both platforms - by posting it on a single platform. Let us understand the steps to link your Instagram account with Facebook account. The process is almost the same for Apple's iOS and Android operating systems. For that, open the Instagram app in your phone and click on the profile picture in it , go to the profile screen. In it, click on the three lines appearing on the top right and go to ' Settings ' . You will see the ' Account ' option at the bottom . Here you will see the option of

So , it became popular especially in India. Facebook also saw the potential in WhatsApp and bought it by paying a huge amount. Meta, the company that owns WhatsApp, is known for not caring much about the security of its users' data or the privacy of users (both are different!) , so there was a fear that WhatsApp would also go the way of Facebook or Messenger , but luckily it didn't happen. The company has retained the ' lite ' form of WhatsApp , but Meta has introduced new , distinct WhatsApp tools and features such as a business API to allow businesses to do powerful digital marketing on WhatsApp as well as generate revenue from it. The problem is that as an average user we are tempted to market only in the free version of WhatsApp! Attempting to do so , or

NASA's Orion capsule reaches lunar orbit, will return to Earth on December 11

- Orion will fly about 40,000 miles above the moon - Orion is launched at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston - Orion was traveling more than 5,700 miles from the surface of the Moon - The Orion capsule will reach the farthest from the Moon during the mission New delhi date. 26 November 2022, Saturday The US space agency has completed the process of inserting the Orion spacecraft into lunar orbit under the Artemis I Moon mission. Orion will fly about 40,000 miles above the moon. Orion is launched at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston. Orion was traveling more than 5,700 miles from the moon's surface, the furthest it will reach the moon during the mission. While in lunar orbit, flight controllers will monitor key systems and checkout the deep space environment. "Due to orbital distance, it will take Orion about a week to complete a half-orbit around the Moon, where it will exit orbit for a return trip," the US space agency said in a statement. About

Computer chips will be made from mushrooms instead of plastic in electronic devices

Image
A new discovery by scientists Scientists will replace plastic with biodegradable material New delhi date. 27 November 2022 Sunday The problem of plastic waste is increasing all over the world. Along with this, electronic waste is also increasing. Both are related to each other. Computer chips and batteries used in many electronic devices use plastics that cannot be recycled. But, now scientists have found a way to replace this plastic with biodegradable material. In new research published in the journal Science Advances, scientists at Johannes Kepler University in Austria have created an electronic substrate from the skin of a mushroom. The base layer of the circuit is called the substrate. It cools and insulates metals that transfer electricity. Ganoderma lucidum mushroom is a type of fungus. which grows on decaying trees in Europe and East Asia. The researchers involved in the study, Doris Deininger and Roland Prakner, found that the mushroom forms a skin made of root-like netw

Climate change: Fresh water demand increases, river valley system will change, startling fact

Image
New delhi date. 26 November 2022, Saturday If the glaciers located in the high Himalayan areas of the state melt faster in the future due to climate change, it may have serious consequences. Future planning will be done from now on to deal with this problem. Rapidly melting glaciers will change entire ecosystems of lowland river basins, while demand for fresh water continues to rise. A stakeholder meeting on glacio-hydrological modeling and IWRM planning for the Bhagirthi basin and its sub-basins was held on Friday by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). SDC is working on 'Strengthening Climate Change and Adaptation in the Himalayas (SCA-Himalaya) Project' during 2020-24. It also includes state directorate of environment protection and climate change. In the meeting, the officials emphasized that the demand for water in all sectors including agriculture, industrial and domestic will increase in the future. So to maintain its continuity, scientific aspects

Is someone going to pick you up at the bus stand? Not simple, share location with ETA

Image
You must know how to share location in Maps app. That way , if one person shares their live location with another person, the other person can see where the first person is at that moment , on their map. But if these two people have shared a location to meet each other, they can also share the Expected Time of Arrival (ETA) i.e. how long it will take them to reach a certain place! To keep things simple , let us take the example of Rameshbhai and his wife Ameebehn living in Ahmedabad. Assume that Ameebhen himself has gone to Pier Vadodara. From there they are coming back to Ahmedabad by bus. Rameshbhai has to go to Geetha Mandir bus stand to pick them up. If Amibehan shares his live location with Rameshbhai from his Google Maps app or WhatsApp, Rameshbhai can constantly see on the map in his phone how far Amibehan's bus has reached. But in this way only the location of the Amibehan bus can be known , it cannot be known how long it will take them to reach the bus stand

Apart from smartphones, extendable skins are also coming in laptops

Image
Folded screens in smartphones are slowly coming into the mainstream. Foldable phones were very popular in the era of touch screens , but when unfolding the phone from the middle hinge, the trend of having the screen at the top and the keypad at the bottom became popular. In a smartphone with a touch screen, the phone can be opened mostly like a book. Along with smartphones, laptops are also seeing various innovations in display screens. Some time ago, Asus company launched a model that has extended the screen to almost half of the keyboard in addition to the normal screen of the laptop. People who work on two monitors in a PC know very well that double monitors can make work much easier. Many people connect their laptop to a second monitor to take advantage of both screens. A trend has started to extend the screen in this way in laptops, like the Asus model. Recently Lenovo company has also introduced smartphones and laptops with this type of flexible and extendable display. The d

Standardization is finally coming to smart home devices

Image
Currently, various tech companies are developing different types of smart home devices. All these devices have their own unique ecosystem. That is, an app or system developed for one type of device will not work in another company's smart home device! Something like this was the case with mobile phones years ago in terms of hardware. The ports for charging are different in each company's mobile, so we have to keep a separate charging cable for each phone. With the advent of Android phones, there was relief in this regard and there was standardization in the matter of charging cables. In this regard, the Apple company has maintained its own separate method until recently. But now it is also likely to have a Type-C type , Android-like standardization. Companies developing smart home devices were also trying to bring this kind of standardization in terms of software or apps. It finally seems to have succeeded. Around 300 companies developing smart devices have jointly deve

At present, more than 50 percent people have got water. Elon Musk is considered to be a jerk , he doesn't think much while implementing his crazy ideas , but because of the face he called on Twitter, the courage of many other companies has opened up. Almost all of America's biggest tech companies are laying off employees — at what many say is unprecedented rates. This streak does not stop. Companies that were known for billions in revenue have suddenly started cost cutting. The world has seen recessions before , but this is new for the tech industry. You may be surprised to know , but layoffs.fyi and layoffstracker.com track how many companies are laying off employees. Websites like ha
