Get your pension slip at home, on WhatsApp

WhatsApp's UPI-based payment service did not catch on at all , but various banks are moving forward to provide different types of services on WhatsApp. As we have known earlier in ' Technoworld ' , a number of banks have now started providing various types of services with the help of chatbots on WhatsApp. All these services are mainly non-transaction type i.e. there is no direct transaction of rupees. Due to this, people have also started getting the opportunity to do various things related to their bank account on WhatsApp.

Recently, State Bank of India has launched a new service on WhatsApp for its senior citizen account holders. Elders can get their pension slips at home with the help of this service. Till now, one had to go to the bank branch in person to get the pension slip. Informing about this service on Twitter, SBI has written that to take advantage of this service, pensioners have to save the number +919022690226 in their mobile and send a 'Hi' message to it from WhatsApp. After that the bank will get various notifications and option to get pension slip in more options along with balance enquiry , mini statement. At the top of the screen , as shown above , with a green tick to the right of the State Bank of India name , ensure that the account is verified and genuine!
