Is a solar storm moving towards the earth at a speed of 12 lakh km per hour?

New York, October 16, 2021, Friday

With the development of space science, new information about space and planets is coming out. According to the information received, a tremendous solar storm is moving towards the earth. Solar storms could hit Earth in a matter of hours, according to a new US warning. Researchers are divided over what effect this will have on the Earth, but some believe it could have an adverse effect on power supplies, GPS systems and mobile signals. Scientists have warned that Northern Lights from space could also appear in the US and UK. The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says a solar storm could cause lightning in many parts of the earth. Magnetic force can also be felt in some places. This can also damage the power grid.

The storm, which started on October 11, has intensified since October 15. It is moving at a speed of 12 lakh km per hour. The last time such a dangerous storm occurred was in 19. However at that time there was no promotion of digital technology including internet. At present, everyone's daily routine is connected with digital technology. A variety of astronomical events take place outside the Earth in what is known as outer space. The sun is the main part of our solar system, which is why it is called the solar system. One such phenomenon is called a solar storm because it wakes up in the sun. An explosion on the surface of the sun releases energy called a sun flare.

Along with the sun flare energy, magnetic energy is also released which opens up some part of the outer surface of the sun called corona which looks like a flame. It also emits microscopic nuclear particles. These particles are scattered throughout the universe with energy called solar storms. Coronal mass ejection occurs after solar flare. During this time a tremendous explosion occurs in the ionized particles emanating from the surface of the sun. In the meantime, it covers any object that gets in the way. According to the US Space Weather Prediction Center, the storm falls into the G7 category, which could also damage the satellite. Ionized particles from mass injection can also damage the satellite.
