Now anyone can become an admin in WhatsApp Channel, the company has launched a new feature

WhatsApp has recently added some new features to its platform, including a new feature that gives channel honor and convenience that now everyone can become a WhatsApp channel admin.

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature called Channel Ownership Transfer. With the help of this feature you can transfer the ownership of your WhatsApp channel to someone else. The person to whom you transfer ownership will also get all administrative rights to the channel.

Anyone can be made the owner in the new feature of WhatsApp channel.

This feature is currently available in beta for Android users. This feature will be available for iOS users soon. This feature has been rolled out in WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.4.22 update.

The new owner will not have the power to remove the channel, remove followers and control the content sent within the post. You have to download the latest beta version of WhatsApp if you want to use it. A screenshot of this WhatsApp feature has also been shared by WAbetainfo.

How this feature works

  • To use the channel ownership transfer feature, you need to go to your WhatsApp channel's settings.
  • Here you will get transfer ownership option.
  • After clicking on this option, you have to select the name or number of the person to whom you want to give your channel.
  • Click on Confirm

The person you want to give your channel to should be in your WhatsApp contacts.

One should have WhatsApp Business App installed.

That person should be a Channel Admin.
