Another great feature that came to WhatsApp, users were waiting for a long time

One more new feature has been added to WhatsApp keeping in mind the demand and security of the users. However, this new additional feature is very useful for these users. This latest feature is called 'Search By Date'. With its help, users can search any old message only by date.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has also shared a video of this feature on his WhatsApp channel. This new feature of WhatsApp has been rolled out for all users. The company has also made this feature available for Mac desktop and WhatsApp Web.

How to search WhatsApp messages by date?

1- First of all open personal or group chat.

2- Tap on the three dots to access the search feature on your Android phone.

3- For search function on iPhones, users have to tap on contact or group name.

4- However in this step you have to confirm that your phone has the latest updated WhatsApp installed.

5- After opening the search option in iOS you will see a small calendar with a search symbol at the bottom right.

6- As soon as you tap on it you will see the date option. Now you can search messages by entering date, month and year.

There will also be an option for Favorite Contacts:

Favorite contact feature will be introduced in WhatsApp soon. With these features, users will see the favorite contacts selected at the top of the call tab. Users will be able to connect with their preferred contacts with a single tap here. WABetaInfo gave information about this feature of WhatsApp. The company is currently testing this feature. Its stable version will be rolled out after beta testing.
