The original mantra of science 'Vedas', foreigners copied it and named themselves: ISRO Chief

Indian Space Research Organization Chairman S. Somnath said that the origin of science is from the Vedas, but this knowledge reached the western countries through Arabia and the scientists there have propagated it in their own name. In addition, he said, scientific methods like algebra, square roots, time calculation, architecture, shape of the universe, metallurgy and aviation are first mentioned in the Vedas.

This knowledge of the Vedas was in the Sanskrit language and was not written down

S. The problem, Somnath said, was that this knowledge was in Sanskrit and the language was not written. People used to take knowledge from each other and memorize it. Then later, the Devanagari script was used to write it. He was seen mentioning this during an address at the Maharishi Panini Sanskrit and Vedic University in Ujjain. Panini is the scholar who wrote Sanskrit grammar.

Sanskrit literature is important not only from a literary point of view but also from a scientific point of view

Somnath said that engineers and scientists are very interested in Sanskrit. This language is very easy for computers and artificial intelligence can easily read it. Much research is being done on how Sanskrit can be used in computing. He said that literature created in Sanskrit in India is important not only from a literary point of view but also from a scientific point of view. There is no distinction between cultural, spiritual and scientific studies in Sanskrit.
