Online Shopping Order Scam: Nowadays people prefer online shopping. In which you can get the item at home and also get a special discount. In that case, huge discounts can also be found during the sale. But sometimes this online shopping is heavy in the circle of getting discounts. It is often handled that a person ordered an iPhone and the soap came out of the box!

Scam happened in online shopping republic sale

A case has come up on Twitter. In which a person said that a scam has happened to him in the Republic Day sale. During this sale he ordered a laptop. But it was while opening the parcel that he lost his senses. This person had ordered a laptop worth 1.13 lakhs online. But when the box was opened, an old laptop came out. Based on this bad experience, he said that online platforms should never be trusted. Seeing this matter escalated, the online shopping app immediately responded to the matter saying, 'We can understand the bad experience you had.' Also asked to contact the person through personal message so that all the information related to the order can be obtained.

What should be done to avoid such scams?

To prevent such scams, the online shopping app provides an option called 'Open Box Delivery'. By taking this option while buying the item, when the item is delivered, the delivery boy will open this box in front of you. In that case, if a wrong item is delivered to you, you can return it at the same time. Also you should not share any OTP until you receive the product as per the order.
