Tech Myths of your mobile phones Busted

We've integrated technology into our lives, just like the parts of our bodies. And as we perform various body functions, we keep trying different functions of our mobile phones as well. Some basic, while some out-of-the-box. Just like the resolution to every problem in your phone isn't simply restarting it, there are ample such myths which we don't even know about.

Ever found yourself looking for a network by exposing your phone to multiple directions? Those bars next to the antenna towers in your phone surely decide how much network you're receiving but they don't decide signal speed. The signal bars show how much relatively more decibels signal the phone is receiving at that time. The next time your internet starts working slowly and the signal bars are all intact, you now know the truth about other factors affecting the signal.

When you're running low on time, and in need of urgent battery power, the usual mistake we make is keeping our phone on airplane mode so that it charges faster. Although airplane mode slows down the battery drain, it can be of no help whatsoever in powering up the battery faster.

Photography has come down from studios to handheld devices to now in your pockets. And all of us want the top quality cameras in our phones. And thus we rush after the phones with the highest number of megapixels. But did you know that it is sensor quality and type that defines how good the generated image will be? Megapixels merely define the number of minute particles the image is going to consist of.

Whenever we notice a little nag or hang in our phone, our first response is to clear the recent apps. This act to resolve your issue might fall against you as when you clear your recent apps, it requires more power and gives the phone extra burden to reboot the application from scratch. The latest smartphones are efficient enough to easily function with multiple apps operating at the same time.
