A premium version of WhatsApp is coming, but only for business users

There is somewhat good news for people using WhatsApp for business. WhatsApp company is launching the premium version of its app. This is not all good news for various businesses. Because this service will be paid and in terms of features, it is not getting much greater facilities than the free service. After completing a paid subscription to WhatsApp Premium that business will be able to generate a custom business link for their WhatsApp account. This link https://wa.me/businessname will be kind.

Currently this type of link can be generated in free service but only WhatsApp mobile number can be given in it. If such a link is posted on one's blog or website or shared in any other way, people click on it and can easily send a message to that WhatsApp number. In the premium version such a link can be generated with the name of the business, making it easier for customers to contact that business on WhatsApp.

Also , when WhatsApp is used for business, it may happen that multiple people on the same team handle the same WhatsApp account on their own devices or computers. An existing free account can be handled in this way by connecting WhatsApp accounts in four devices simultaneously. In the paid premium version, 10 devices can be connected to a single WhatsApp account.

Remember that WhatsApp premium account with this subscription is only available to people using WhatsApp business app. WhatsApp company is launching this business version in different countries and its subscription charges may vary from country to country.

The limit of number of members in groups will increase further

Until now, if we create a group in our simple WhatsApp app, only 256 members could be added to it. As the use of WhatsApp increased, people started to find this number very limited. Now WhatsApp has increased this limit to 512. Now there is news that this limit has been doubled. It means that now we will be able to include 1024 people in the WhatsApp group. Of course this feature is not yet available to everyone. It is being rolled out gradually. So it may take some time to reach us. In the Telegram app, which is a competitor of WhatsApp, up to 2 lakh people can join in a single channel. However, keeping in mind the popularity of WhatsApp and security issues, the company is deliberately not providing a large number of group messaging facilities. People using the WhatsApp Business API can significantly increase this limit by paying Rs for each message.
