Ahmedabad. 10 May 2020, Sunday

The megapixels of smartphone cameras have always been in controversy. Cameras with more megapixels are better or less megapixels, however, many reports also say that the quality of the photo does not depend on the megapixels of the camera alone.

Now a new update has come out which says that 75% of Indians do not give much importance to the megapixels of the camera when buying a mobile, however, they prefer the front camera. The survey involved 600 smartphone users from cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. He was 18-30 years old.

Revealed in Cyber Media Research Survey
CMR conducted a survey of smartphones in the range of 30,000 which found that 79 Indians believe that the quality of photos does not depend on the megapixels of the smartphone's camera. This is the opinion of five out of every six people who buy a smartphone in the range of 20-30 thousand.

The thing to note here is that all the smartphone makers are introducing phones with more megapixels, while consumers do not trust it. According to the report, 64% of people have more confidence in the front camera than the rear camera.

Most people prefer the front camera photo quality when buying a phone. 55% of users are not happy with the front camera in low light, while 58% of users are bothered by bad photos in low light.

What does the expert say?
"This report says a lot, as smartphone companies are increasing the megapixels of rear cameras, while consumers don't care," said a cyber media research expert on the survey. Users believe that photo quality does not depend on megapixels. Selfie is important to them and they don't want to compromise. Smartphones with more megapixels attract professional photographers, as photo quality, detailing and color are more important to them.
