Is it dangerous for patients if there is an error in the plasma method?

New Delhi, 29 April 2020, Wednesday

Plasma methods are being discussed at a time when experiments are being carried out around the world to find a cure and a vaccine to cure coronavirus infection. These plazas are prevalent in patients with any type of infection in the body to boost immunity. The Spanish flu epidemic was also treated 100 years ago by the age-old plasma method.

Plasma therapy is also thought to be helpful in corona viruses. Plasma donations were also introduced to treat coronary heart disease in the United States. The plasma method was also being used in India, but a statement from the ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) has cast doubt on the plasma method. The medical institute says that if there is an error in the plasma method, it proves to be dangerous for patients and should not be used until it is approved. However, after this statement, the question arises that if plasma therapy is dangerous then who has given permission to Rajcho? Because in states including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat, there is talk of giving plasma treatment to corona patients. It is also known that donations were made in some places.

The Maharashtra health minister also gave a media statement that two patients have got good results from plasma therapy. First of all, a private hospital in Delhi claimed that plasma therapy cured a patient who was eating zola between life and death. Plasma results were also reported in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

However, the paradox is that the Union Ministry of Health also believes that plasma therapy is at an experimental level at present and so far no evidence has been found that it is helpful in the treatment of Covid-19. This therapy involves the removal of plasma from the blood of a person free of corona infection and inserted into a corona infection. This is because antibodies are produced in a person who is free of coronary heart disease. These antibodies boost the immune system and speed up the patient's recovery, but the treatment of Covid-19 positives raises questions about plasma therapy.
