Caution: You can go to jail, become an 'arrest' admin at WhatsApp Group

The admin is responsible for the offending posts in the group, but do you know how many group admins you are?

Right now you're spending most of your free time on WhatsApp, right? You will also come across a series of questions, asking 'how many mammas are in a kilo of mangoes' or 'how many grains are in a kilo of rye' and the answers to them, asking 'different types of words that come with a head?'

So answer some more, Google questions!

Question 1 - How many groups are you a member of in WhatsApp? You know Another, even more difficult question - how many of those groups are you an admin for, you know? Third, the toughest and most important question - how do you know how to answer the next two questions?

If you do not know, start by asking the other questions in WhatsApp to know the answers to these questions. Because toothbrushes, shaving brushes, or laundry brushes will not work if you do not know that there are some strings, but if you do not know which group in WhatsApp we are an admin, maybe we can go to jail!

If you are not particularly active on WhatsApp, chatting with your family or friends, you are active in a group or just a few people on your contact list, don't think you are safe! If you haven't already done so, anyone who knows your phone number can add you to their own group and even make you an admin. Even if that person doesn't make you an admin, you can even become the group's admin!

The same risk to WhatsApp business

The reach of WhatsApp in India is alarming and therefore dangerous. The proportion of people who accept every message on this app is huge (there is no discrimination of race, religion, age, income, education, etc.) and even though they understand that such messages will be false, the forwarding class is huge too.

That is why rumors spread over WhatsApp have led to the massacre of people in India. At that time, with the pressure of the government, WhatsApp controlled the message forwarding, started showing that the message was forwarded and also had to run big advertisements in newspaper and TV about the responsible use of WhatsApp.

We also know that at the time of election, every party uses the entire army on WhatsApp. The soldiers of this army only have to play some dumbbells, the rest of them are ready to fire. Many groups are set up at this time.

There was so much rumor on WhatsApp that following Corona's cry, that there were restrictions on forwarding the message back to WhatsApp. In addition, messages that bothered the average users of WhatsApp and especially the admins of various groups also circulated in WhatsApp. It - as always happens in WhatsApp - is a confusion of truth and untruth.

"The government reads our messages to the police", in addition to the ever-present, definite signal ticks in WhatsApp, "your message has been recorded as offensive if you see additional ticks ... you may be arrested at any time ... "In the midst of a multitude of messages, etc., the absolute and concrete truth is that we can really get into trouble if we do not use WhatsApp responsibly.

How are the risks?

In the current scenario, police from various states have started to issue 'advisories' for WhatsApp and all other social media users and admins. It talks about how to use social media wisely.

At the same time, especially with the purpose of administering WhatsApp, it is clear that legal action can be taken against both the user and the admin if the offending, provocative, defamatory post is shared in any way. It contains a list of what laws can be taken against such people. This list is long so it does not fall into the details here, but it is important that the list is long! A video of a Maharashtra Police IPS officer suggesting WhatsApp users to turn groups he created into 'admin only can post' type has gone viral. Now, why is it important to know which group we are a member of and especially an admin?

Such has become the case
A while back, according to a shocking news in the newspapers, a youth from Madhya Pradesh had to spend five to six months in jail as he became the admin of a group by 'default' WhatsApp, in which the offending content was shared.

This is like understanding the seriousness of the word 'by default'
According to reports, the young man was not his admin when the offensive post was shared in the group. The person who was an admin left the group, and then someone else became the group admin. He too left the group, resulting in the young 'by default' becoming the admin of the group. His crime was so bad that he did not take himself seriously as an admin in the group and did not consider it appropriate to leave the group if it was not favorable.

Now examine this whole thing from your own point of view. Do you know for sure that you are currently a member of WhatsApp groups and also an admin of several groups?

Understand that you are the admin of the group you started, but the problem with WhatsApp is that anyone can save you number on their mobile and make you a member of that group and also admin. You get a message when you are made a member. If you do not get out of the group by making a decision right away then you may face difficulties in the future.

Also, WhatsApp has no arrangement to show chatting with groups and individuals separately. It is different from the name or profile picture that we assume to be a group, but WhatsApp itself does not clearly distinguish individual chat and group chat.

If you have been made an admin in a group, you may not even know that you have now become an admin in that group until you open the group's chat and check its notifications or group info!

It is very difficult for anyone to accurately track every group chat on WhatsApp. Of course, WhatsApp has now arranged that if you leave a group, it will be difficult for the group admin to reconnect with you. Again the basics. If you go to WhatsApp, you will not find any system that allows you to easily view the list of the group in which you are a member. So what to do?

What do you do for safety?

One way is to open WhatsApp, open the chat of whatever group it appears in. Click on the group name in the heading and check who else is in the group besides you. See what kind of posts are placed in the group and, especially, whether you are an admin. If the group does not seem to be trusted, then exit and then delete the group.

This route is not accurate because in this way, you will only reach the active group. Groups that have no posts in a few days will escape your gaze.

Another way is to take advantage of one of WhatsApp's features indirectly. WhatsApp shows how many of our contacts and members of our common group are members. That is why by searching any contact in WhatsApp by clicking on their name, in addition to their various information, we get to know how many common groups we and they are in.

To take advantage of this feature, find your number in your phone's addressbook. You may not get your own number! Then search again by adding or removing zeros before the number. If not matched, finally add your number in the contact book by the name 'Trial'. Now in the Contact app itself, a 'trial' number will be found in WhatsApp. Click the link to send a WhatsApp message to that number. This will open the chat page with the number in WhatsApp. Clicking on that number will open its InfoPage (which is really ours!). Now by examining how many common groups we are in, we will know exactly how many groups we are in. That means by grabbing WhatsApp vertically, you will know which group you are a member of. Now you have to decide whether you want to be in that group or not.

Just a simple check, see how difficult it can be in WhatsApp! Even more difficult is when you are a member of many groups and how many clicks you have to find in each of these groups.

WhatsApp is nice, but its weird (whatever it is randomly made admin) and our reckless use it can be dangerous! We also need to understand such risky aspects of other social platforms.
