The facility of posting in threads is coming from Facebook

Taking advantage of Twitter company's name change and other major upheavals last year, Meta Company launched a new social platform ' Threads ' almost like Twitter. When the Threads service launched in July 2023, it was launched along the lines of the already hugely popular Instagram to give it a large user base from the start. Hence, if we have an Instagram account, we can sign-up in the threads from it and the Instagram username and followers are also added to the threads.

Due to this the threads got a very fast growth initially. In the first month itself , in fact in the first five days, the number of its users reached the mark of 10 crores. However, then the enthusiasm of the users began to wane. Since Instagram and Threads are connected to each other, users in Threads remained but their actual activity started to decrease.

It seems that even the meta company did not live up to the expectations it had from Threads. Hence, the company has started looking for new ways to increase user engagement in it.

According to a news , now Meta company is preparing to provide facility of cross-posting in shared post threads in Facebook. For that some users are seeing a new button in Facebook. By clicking it , users will be able to post their Facebook posts to threads as well. Of course , the use of this button will be optional , so you can activate or deactivate this button whenever you want. It means that if we want to keep certain posts limited to Facebook only, that can also be done.

You must know that Meta Company has provided the facility of posting photos from Instagram to Facebook for a long time. Meta Company has been trying to bring Facebook , Instagram , WhatsApp and now Threads closer together.
