Right now the season is very bad - cold in the morning and at night , intense heat in the afternoon , humid wind in the evening , cloudy atmosphere... What happens if a person does not get sick in all this ? Gher Gher people's throats are bad!

We all know that caution is better than cure , but suppose there is a lapse in caution and the disease is applied , then ? So first we should know that we are sick!

Just like when our body suffers from a disease, some of its symptoms immediately appear in the body, if a virus or malware enters our smartphone or computer, some things are immediately aware of its presence. Remedies will be easy if we understand such symptoms.

In addition to the antivirus program in the new Windows PC, Microsoft's own ' Defender ' program can protect our PC , as well as in smartphones, malware-adware can also be avoided by taking general precautions. However , sometimes our smart devices can become victims of some kind of disease if we are wrong about something. Today let's know the symptoms of such a disease and ways to prevent or treat it.

Whether you have a simple Android phone or an expensive iPhone , both types of phones are prone to malware. Both Google and Apple are constantly trying to make their operating systems and app stores foolproof , but hackers are also finding new ways to break into phones.

If your phone starts showing unexpected pop-up ads (even some mobile handset manufacturers show such ads , that's a different story!) , the daily prepaid monthly cost of your phone increases unexpectedly , the phone's battery drains more than usual. Starts ending faster , phone starts overheating , phone becomes less responsive than usual and starts lagging , internet connectivity starts getting messed up and calls drop...

All these are signs that something unwanted has entered the smartphone. Especially if you see an app that you have not downloaded in the phone, the biggest sign! Obviously, the first resort is to uninstall such an app immediately.

By clicking on your profile picture in Android's Play Store , ' Play Protect ' can scan all the apps on the phone and then execute the instructions found in them.

Apart from that , the best way is to completely factory reset the phone by taking a complete backup of the important data in the phone.

When you turn on your computer and start working in a program , ' Caution! Your computer has a virus! ' Is there any notice to that effect ?

Now this has two possibilities ,

One possibility is that you have a good antivirus program on your computer , you update it regularly, and it actually alerts you.

Another possibility is that a malware program has infiltrated your computer and is giving fake alerts. Most of the times we are tempted to click on any link on such notice like ' Learn more ' or ' Scan your computer for free ' or ' Remove virus ' .

If we are connected to the internet, the link may take us to a site selling antivirus software , which may actually be fake!

If you see such an apparently fake notice, it is most likely that the computer is infected with an unwanted program that needs to be removed. For that go to ' Uninstall Programs ' in Control Panel. See a new , unknown program ? So uninstall it.

You can also scan the entire system with your genuine antivirus program. If all else fails, seek help from a computer engineer or someone knowledgeable , but don't ignore the fake warning.

If a pop-up window frequently opens on your smartphone or computer informing you that you have won a prize or inviting you to play a game, know that something is wrong.

This is more likely to happen in the browser. There are some sites that open such pop-up windows , but you look at a website regularly , usually without any ads , but then suddenly ads appear in the empty space on both sides of the screen , unnecessary even in the texts of the website. Seeing multiple links means that your device is infected with ad malware. Get rid of it.

Remember that the website itself may not be bad or dangerous , just the adware or malware that has infiltrated our device causing problems.

Again , we need to find the offending app or program and uninstall it.

This problem is not seen in smartphones , but in computers.

In it, we usually use a browser like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox , but without our knowledge, the search engine we have set is changed to someone else!

The reason for this is that every browser provides the facility to set the search engine of our choice as default. So we can set the address bar of Google Chrome browser to always search from Microsoft's Bing browser.

If it happens that a dangerous malware has entered our computer, it sets a new search engine as the default search engine by going to the settings of the browser. When this happens, go back into the browser's settings and check which search engines are found in it. Eliminate unnecessary search engines. However, some search engines or accompanying toolbars are very difficult to remove!

Seeing unwanted toolbars in your browser ? This also happens in PC only. Unrecognized toolbars in the browser are an obvious sign that our computer's security is compromised. Usually , if we don't keep the browser and its plug-ins updated along the way , or when we download a new program, such toolbars get intruded along with it. To avoid this , don't agree to anything extra that isn't needed while downloading anything.

It is not enough to simply close such toolbars , it is necessary to uninstall them. Most of the time we can uninstall the installed toolbars by going to the settings of each browser , but the toolbars that have infiltrated may not be so easily removed.

Toolbars like Babylon or Ask are very difficult to remove once they enter the computer , get help if necessary , but remove them without fail.

In the case of smartphones , it is very difficult to manually remove malware once it has been infiltrated. Hence, after taking backup of all the data in the phone, factory reset is the only correct solution. Similarly, in a computer , if we take the help of a service engineer, he also suggests a way to format it i.e. install the operating system anew.

The things written in the other boxes of this article are the indications of whether something has gone wrong in the smartphone or the computer. All these symptoms are treated after the disease is cured. In order not to get sick, we need to update the necessary programs or apps regularly , use antivirus regularly in the computer , do not look at sites that seem to be disturbed or click on links that seem dangerous... etc. Precautions are the most necessary.

If these symptoms appear after missing it, instead of ignoring it, you have to try to remove it yourself or seek the help of an expert.
