Delete transaction history on Google Pay? Yes... so know the step-by-step process

Nowadays everything has become online. People also prefer to give or receive payments online. While shopping or paying the restaurant bill, paying the light bill and also in grocery shops, scanners have come so that people can make online payments and do not even worry about leaving.

Users have many options for online payment. Most users use Google Pay. Google Pay is the most used app for digital transactions. Earlier users could not view their transaction history on this app, but now you get the option to view your transaction history.

Whenever you transfer money to someone through your mobile app, the time, amount, transaction ID and all other details are stored in the app.

However, if you want to delete the transaction history, you don't get the delete option here and the history remains stored in the app.


This way you can delete the history

1. Open the Google app in your device. Scroll down.

2. In Google Pay you will see below side Show transaction history option.

3. Tap on the > icon, your transaction history will open

4. In this option you will see a list of all the transactions you have sent and received.

How to delete transaction history?

1. Go to Google Chrome on your phone.

2. Go to www.google.com and locate your Google.

3. Login account by entering your Google credentials.

4. You will see three dots in the upper left corner, click on it.

5. Click on 'Data and Privacy' and go to 'History Settings'.

6. Click on 'Web and App Activity' and go to Manage All Web and App Activity.

7. Three dots will appear on the search bar, click on it.

8. Select Other Google Activity and go to Google Pay Experience.

9. Go to Google Pay Experience and click on Manage Activity.

10. Click on Delete on the drop down arrow and now click on the history you want to delete.

11. Now you have to select last day or any time you like and delete transaction history.
