WhatsApp is used by children to old people. Many people are using WhatsApp now for their business too. Many times we are added in so many groups in WhatsApp that it is not surprising if an important message is left unread. This must have happened to you too. But the company has come up with a solution for this too.

Around 2 billion people use WhatsApp in the world. Keeping this in mind, now a chat filter has been introduced for them. The company is introducing chat filters, so that no important updates or messages are missed on users' WhatsApp.

WhatsApp has started rolling out a new feature, which will help improve user experience on desktop.

What is in this feature?

WABetaInfo has provided information about this new feature. WABetaInfo shared a screenshot of this. This feature will give a new experience to the users, with the help of which you will now be able to customize the chat as per your choice.

Who can use this feature?

This feature is currently only available to some beta testers and will be rolled out to everyone soon. As per the shared screenshot, WhatsApp users will now get three filters in the chat: Unread, Contacts and Groups.

With its help, users will be able to access the chat instantly according to their convenience. In the unread filter, users will see chats that have not been opened. In Contacts, messages from numbers saved in the phonebook will appear, and the group filter will show group chats to users. Users who used to miss many messages during long chats will benefit the most from this.

When will the rollout happen?

Currently, beta web users of WhatsApp can try. This feature is currently being tested. After some time this feature can be rolled out for all WhatsApp users. The chat filter feature can be checked from the latest version of WhatsApp Web.
