DHANUSH
The 155 mm/45 caliber TOD Howitzer Dhanush was inducted into the Indian Army in 2019. This is an indigenous version of the Bofors cannon. At present the army has 12 bows. An order has been placed for 114. A crew of 6 to 8 is required to operate the bow. Its shell has a range of 38 kilometers. Which fires three rounds in this 15 seconds in burst mode. 15 rounds in 3 minutes in Intense mode and 60 rounds in 60 minutes in Sustained mode, meaning can defeat the enemy as needed.
M-46 Sharang
This is a field gun, which has two variants. 133 millimeters and 155 millimeters. India has 1100 such field guns. It fires in three rates. Usually 6 rounds in a minute. Fires 8 rounds in burst mode and 5 rounds in sustained mode. Its shell moves towards the enemy at a speed of 1 km per hour. Its shell ranges from 27.5 km to 38 km.
K9-Vajra T
The K9-Vajra T is a 155 millimeter self-propelled gun. 100 such are included in the top Indian Army. In addition, 200 more guns will be included. So this cannon is made by South Korea but India has made some changes according to the country's situation. This change is done by indigenous companies only. The range of these shells ranges from 18 to 54 km. This was used during the current conflict with China. It has an operation range of 360 km and 67 km per hour.
ATAGS
The Indian Army currently has 7 of these 155 mm guns. It was first tested in 2016. At present 40 guns have been ordered. Besides this, 150 more cannons will be made. It requires 6 to 8 people to run it. Fires 3 rounds in 15 seconds in Burst mode, 15 rounds in 3 minutes in Intense and 60 rounds in 60 minutes. Its firing range is 48 km. But efforts are being made to increase it to 52.
Ultra Light Howitzer (ULH)
India has more than 110 of these 155 mm guns. Which requires 8 people to run 8. Which takes 7 shells in a minute. The range of the shell is 24 to 40 km at different angles. which reaches the enemy at a speed of 1 km per second. This cannon is deployed on the border of China and Pakistan. It weighs 4200 kg, length 35 feet, barrel length 16.7 feet. Six types of shells can be fired with its help. All shells are of 155 mm caliber. Normally this cannon can fire two shells per minute and a maximum speed of 7 shells per minute. The Excalibur shell in it has a range of 40 kilometers.
