What did India get from Chandrayaan-3? In 7 days Vikram and Pragya sent this important information from the moon
|
It has been 7 days today since Chandrayaan-3 landed on the moon. In which ISRO showed the view of the south pole of the moon. The special thing is that 1 lunar day is equal to 14 Earth days. Hence, Pragyan rover and Vikram lander will have to work fast. However, many achievements have been achieved in these 7 days as well.
Know about the achievements of 7 days of Chandrayaan
23 August ISRO shared the first photo after the soft landing. The landing camera took this picture. Vikram sent a photo of the landing time. In which a communication link was established between the lander and MOX-ISTRAC, Bengaluru. This photo was taken by the Lander Horizontal Velocity Camera.
August 24 ISRO informed that India has walked on the moon. Then the robotic rover of Chandrayaan-3 started walking on the moon. In which the payload of the lander module was activated. Apart from this information was also given that all operations are running on time and the system is working properly. Lander module payload ILSA, RAMBHA and ChaSTE were launched on August 24. Also, SHAPE payload was started on Sunday, the information of which was given on Twitter.
August 25 ISRO has shared a new video on its Twitter account. In which the Pragyan rover was seen slowly coming down from the lander with the help of a ramp and moving on the moon. According to the information provided by the space agency, the rover gets power from solar panels. Also, its payload was started by cutting a distance of 8 meters on the surface of Pragyan Chandra.
On August 26, ISRO informed about the completion of 2 out of 3 objectives of this mission. This includes a safe and soft landing on the lunar surface and a walk on the moon. Thus ISRO succeeded in these two respects.
Apart from this, PM Modi announced the name of Chandrayaan-3's landing point as Shiv Shakti Point, Chandrayaan-2's crash point as Tiranga Point, and thirdly the day of Chandrayaan-3's moon landing as National Space Day. After this announcement, henceforth August 23 will be celebrated as National Space Day.
27 August ISRO shared the graph obtained from the ChaSTE payload on the Vikram lander. According to this, the surface temperature of the moon is 50 degrees Celsius. At the same time, after going deeper, the surface temperature of the moon decreases rapidly. According to the data recorded on the graph, after going inside 80 mm, the temperature drops to 10 degrees. From this it appears that the surface of the moon is not able to retain heat.
August 28 Pragyan rover's mission is to transmit research information on the moon to Earth. A 26 kg rover moves about one cm per second on the moon. The Pragyan rover encountered a pothole during its lunar orbit. The Pragyan rover was safely sent on another route with a pothole as big as 4 meters in the road.
