Will technology become a curse? 8 out of 10 jobs in jeopardy with the advent of AI, with women most at risk

Ever since the invention of artificial intelligence, it has been seen as a substitute for humans. However, it is not at all suitable for human values. Furthermore, a new study claims that women are more at risk of losing their jobs than men after the advent of AI. According to this study, AI tools ChatGPT could replace most women's jobs by the year 2030.

Women's jobs in crisis due to AI!

The study is published by the McKinsey Global Institute. It shows that eight out of every ten women will have to change companies or lose their jobs due to AI. According to the study, the presence of automation and AI in the workplace may lead to this dangerous situation.

This sector is at risk of losing the most jobs by 2030

According to one economist, the impact of AI will be particularly strong on minimum wage jobs, where women outnumber men. For example, the number of women as assistants in offices is very high. Apart from this, the number of women in customer services is high. In such a scenario, the world would lose 3.7 million office support jobs and 2 million customer service jobs by the year 2030.

Especially the jobs of these people will be affected

The study also suggests the possibility that sales staff and cashier jobs in stores could be cut due to AI. Not only this, AI can also take the work of engineers, especially in design-related tasks, creating fewer job opportunities. However, the study emphasized that workers who do not have a degree, who are older and who are too young in the workplace are more likely to lose their jobs.
