Twitter's sparrow flew again, replaced the blue bird with X, launched a new URL with a new logo

Microblogging platform Twitter's name, logo and URL have all changed. American billionaire Elon Musk, who bought it last year, has ditched the old Twitter and launched the new X as the biggest change. Twitter has now been renamed to X and the blue bird logo has been replaced by an X logo. Not only this, now the new URL of the platform has also been changed to x.com. These changes have gone live on the platform.

Musk doesn't want to go ahead with the Twitter name

Twitter CEO Linda Yacarino herself informed of the changes and confirmed Musk's claim. Elon Musk has already hinted that he will make a lot of changes in Twitter to give users a completely new experience and he has also made many changes, but now the biggest step has been taken from him. The reason behind changing the platform completely is that Musk doesn't want to go with the Twitter name. This change is getting mixed response from people.

Users are being redirected to Twitter

Musk said in a tweet that the changes being made to Twitter will gradually be seen by users in all markets and have already started. From the name of the official Twitter account to the profile photo has changed. However his handle is still @twitter. Apart from this, users are being redirected to Twitter when they visit x.com.

Changes were made earlier as well

After Elon Musk bought Twitter last year, there have been many changes and users have been given the option of taking a monthly subscription to Blue Tick. Previously, Musk jokingly made a Shiba Inu dog meme, the logo of the Dogecoin crypto token, into Twitter's logo. Musk has been making such changes on Twitter every day, making headlines.
