Solar Flare Strom: Earth may be in the path of solar flares, NASA warns

New delhi date. 26 April 2023, Wednesday

Not even 24 hours have passed since last week's solar flares reduced in intensity. There, the American space research agency NASA has once again expressed the possibility of solar flares. NASA said that the storm from the Sun will be more dangerous than before. This storm is going to have a direct impact on the world. It can also have a major impact on the Earth's magnetic field. Due to which GPS and internet connection may be interrupted.

What are solar flares?

According to NASA scientists, solar flares are caused by massive bursts of plasma and magnetic waves from the Sun's core. As a result, billions of solar particles can be scattered all around. Its impact on the solar system cannot be stopped. A week ago, a storm in the form of solar flares was observed in the solar system. His light also came to earth.

The Indian Ocean was the most affected by the solar storm. Due to which there were some hiccups in the wireless connection. But this time the solar storm is bigger and more impressive. On April 19, NASA announced an increase in solar flares, scientists said. Similarly, on April 20, the storm that arose from the Sun affected the Earth. The damage caused by it was already estimated. With the arrival of new solar storms, the damage may increase further.

What is the effect on the earth?

Although not all solar flares reach Earth, solar flares or high-speed solar winds and coronal mass ejections (CMEs) can affect space weather in the near-Earth space and upper atmosphere. Solar storms can affect the operation of space-related services such as the Global Positioning System (GPS), radio and satellite communications. It makes aircraft flights, power grids and space exploration programs unsafe.
