YouTube desktop version will turn off video addresses


If you have been watching videos on YouTube regularly, you must have experienced that the ads appearing during the videos are a big hindrance. If we want to use YouTube service for free, we have to tolerate ads, but gradually, before the video starts, ads come and some ads can be skipped after a certain second, but some ads have to be watched in full, a trend has started. Even in long videos, these types of ads started to proliferate in between and finally. However, as all this was going down, the trend of ' overlay ' ads also started. As the name suggests these same type of ads started appearing at the top or bottom of the screen during the ongoing video. It is natural that creators who want to increase their earnings from YouTube welcome all kinds of ads, but for us as viewers, it started to become annoying. However, overlay ads in mobile apps have long been discontinued. After that, such overlay ads will be stopped on the YouTube website in the desktop as well. Its implementation will start from April 6 , 2023. However, YouTube has allowed content creators to use other types of ad formats instead of overlay ads.
