The baby's lungs are formed but they are not functioning because at that time the baby does not need to breathe through the mouth or nose to survive, so this fluid fills the baby's lungs. When the baby is born, this fluid that keeps it alive in the womb can cause the baby to die. As soon as the baby is born, it is hung upside down by its legs, this causes the fluid in its lungs to come out and the baby starts to breathe.

As the fluid comes out of the baby's lungs, he starts breathing rapidly and then starts crying. By doing this, the baby's lungs start working and never stop in life. According to medical science, crying is necessary to start the lungs. Even now, the question remains that even if children laugh, the lungs can start breathing. So now our question is why does the baby cry and not laugh as soon as it is born. Medical science has no answer to this question.

According to the scriptures the cause of crying after the birth of a child

This has happened from the point of view of science. Apart from this, a myth is also told behind the crying of a newborn baby as soon as it is born. The answer to this question is given in the Vishnu Purana. Brahmaji has made human beings similar to himself, that is why human beings are called the part of Brahmaji. When Brahmaji created the first human being and took him in his bosom and transferred his soul, he opened his eyes and began to ask one continuous question, 'Where am I? Where am I? Where am I?'

The soul was in its own world and suddenly that soul was given a living body and changed its place. This process is soul related so it cannot be stopped. Brahmaji thought that this pronunciation was not appropriate at the time of birth. So Brahma controlled the child's voice.
