Whether it's EarPods or earphones paired with our smartphones or a wireless keyboard or mouse connected to laptops , Bluetooth technology is now being used in many different ways. As we know , this technology connects two devices wirelessly.

The first and major limitation is that any two devices can only be connected to each other via Bluetooth within a fixed distance , and we don't know exactly how far the Bluetooth connectivity will last. When listening to music from a smartphone in an earpod, we walk away from the phone and realize that we are out of Bluetooth range when the music stops!

Now this situation will change. As you may know, when the EarPods are paired with a smartphone or laptop, we can see the percentage of battery charge in the EarPods. In the same way, the distance from the EarPod smartphone or laptop will be known!

However, this distance cannot be known very accurately. There is no system like GPS in Earpod to know its location, so the distance between Earpod and smartphone will be known by doing some other ' Karamat ' . This will mostly be done based on the signal strength between the two devices. However, it is still being researched.

After we get this feature we will not get any notification from Instagram until we enable quiet mode in Instagram app and turn it off. We can also turn off notifications from the smartphone's general settings , but Quiet Mode goes a step further. It will also let other users know that we currently do not want any disturbance from Instagram i.e. from our friends and followers on it. However, if someone sends us a direct message during that time, Instagram will send them an automatic reply telling them that we are currently in quiet mode and will not respond immediately.

Instagram says that this feature has been launched keeping in mind teenagers who are constantly active on its app , so that they can stay away from Instagram with the help of this feature while studying or going to sleep at night.

The main issue with this is the willpower of the user , but when that is lacking, such a mod might work. Apart from Quiet Mode, Instagram is also getting more parental controls.

Photos can be shared in original quality on WhatsApp

You may know that when we take a photograph and share it with another person or group using WhatsApp, the photograph is not shared in original quality. WhatsApp's system compresses it , reduces its size and then shares it. No matter how high or low resolution the photo we want to share is , the system compresses it according to its needs so that the photo can be shared quickly.

As a solution to this we can share the photograph as a document instead of sharing it as an image in WhatsApp. In that case the photograph is shared in its original quality. Only , the other person has to download it as a document and then they can view it. Now the news is that finally WhatsApp will give us the option to share the photograph in its original quality. Of course this feature is still being worked on. It may take time to reach us.
