Instagram refocused on content creation rather than shopping
Instagram has created a prominent presence in the field of digital marketing. Since Instagram is very popular especially among the young generation, Instagram is very useful for various companies to promote their products or services. But Instagram itself as a company seems to be in a bit of confusion about where to go. A while back , the Shop tab was added to enable shopping from within the Instagram app. Because of this, various content creators could add a shop button to their posts or other content to buy that product. Now there is news that Instagram will again focus on content creation rather than promoting shopping on its app. This is why the Shop tab is being removed from the home menu of the app. The Shop tab is likely to be removed from the app for all users by next month. However, the shop button will remain on the business's profile page and people can proceed to purchase from there.
Now WhatsApp status can also be reported as objectionable
If you are carelessly posting different statuses everyday in WhatsApp, now be a little careful. A feature is coming in WhatsApp due to which other users will be able to report if they find something objectionable in the status of a user. For that a button will be added to report the status while we are viewing it. Now when we are looking at the status of another user, that user gets options to mute , message , voice call or video call. Apart from this, there is also an option to view his contact details. Now along with it the option to report objectionable status will also be added. When a user reports a status as objectionable, these details will reach the WhatsApp company's moderation team and they will decide whether the status is indeed objectionable as per the terms and conditions of WhatsApp. But the funny thing is that end-to-end encryption of the message will be maintained throughout this process!
