What if your work office file suddenly crashes?
Microsoft's latest office programs have the convenience of auto-save , our work is constantly , automatically saved , but if you do not get such a benefit ? Suppose you have put a lot of effort into preparing a presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint , but in the excitement of creating a great presentation, you forget to save the presentation file once in a while ?
It is possible that your computer crashes i.e. shuts down suddenly due to a power supply surge or any other reason , in such a situation you will not get a chance to save and close your presentation file. Maybe you worked hard on five or fifteen slides and the file closed before it was saved. No need to worry of course. Most Microsoft Office programs auto-save our documents at regular intervals in addition to manual saves . As a result, when we open the file for the second time, a document recovery panel will open on the left and you will see your unsaved presentation file. Clicking this filename will recover the file from the stage when the PowerPoint program last autosaved the file.
To select the autosave time for auto recovery, settings can be made by going to the save section in PowerPoint options. Even after the document recovery window on the left side is closed, if you want to open the auto recovery file, then you will find the option of Recover Unsaved Presentations at the end of the list of recent presentations in the file tab.
Apart from PowerPoint, this facility is also found in other Microsoft programs like Word and Excel.
