Emotional problems were more prevalent in children in artificial environments away from nature. However, factors such as age, environment, parental occupation and schooling were also found to affect the children and adolescents. The researchers also collected information from children in the form of questionnaires as part of a study of children's behavior from 2012 to 2016. Researchers are trying to figure out why good feelings are experienced in forests and green areas.
