Now you can't use this app of Google for free, you have to pay for the subscription

Google Photos is usually used for photo backup. This app is inbuilt in Android smartphones. You can also edit photos in this app. Also, now you have to pay for editing photos in Google Photos.

You will need a Google One subscription to use some of the editing tools in Google Photos. According to a report Google is going to pad some filters for its Photos app. A Google One subscription will be required to unlock these filters. This range (photo app) from Google can be seen in version 5.18 of the Photos App. At the same time, some users say that they are being asked for a subscription for this feature.

One user said in a post on Twitter that he was asked for a Google One subscription to unlock the Color Pop filter in the Photos app. The user has also shared a screenshot of it.

According to Google, a premium service for this app is going to be launched soon, after which users will get cool photo editing tools.
