Long live streams can be done on Instagram

Ahmedabad, Dt. 2 November 2020, Monday

Social media and video platforms seem to be feeling awkward about how long users will like the video.

On the one hand, very short videos were becoming very popular due to Tiktok and after the ban on Tiktok, a feature to share such videos was added to a number of apps. Instagram was one such app.

Instagram now has a full four-hour live streaming feature. According to Instagram, people in the categories of yoga teachers, chefs, musicians, etc. are being given the facility to hold long live sessions with their audiences without an hour limit.

Such live broadcasts can also be archived for a full 30 days. However this feature will only be available to an account with a good record on Instagram.
