New Delhi, Ta, 27 September 2020, Sunday

Today is Google's birthday. On this occasion, Google is celebrating its 22nd birthday through a special doodle. When you open Google, you see a colorful doodle, which when clicked, redirects to the search results page. Sharing option is also provided on tapping on Google Doodle. That means it can also be shared via Facebook, Twitter and email.

The doodle features all of Google's alphabet, with the first letter of Google placed in front of a laptop screen surrounded by gift boxes, a cake and toffees. In addition the remaining five alphabets are shown in one frame.

Today, Google is the largest search engine in the world and operates in more than 100 languages. In India too, Google has adapted itself to the local level and added a number of languages.

The search engine Google was launched in the year 1998. It was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, two PhD students at Stanford University in California. Before the official launch of Google by Larry Paes and Sergey Brin, it was named 'Backrub'. The word Google is derived from the word Googol in Maths.
