Twitter has a Voice Tweet feature, Learn what it is and how it will work

Ahmedabad. 18 June 2020, Thursday

Micro-blogging website Twitter has launched the Voice Tweet feature. Currently this feature is only available to a limited number of users on the iOS platform.

The company said in an official statement that sometimes 280 characters are not enough to present its case, so the company wants to give more human touch to use Twitter through this feature. Users will now be able to record tweets in their own voice.

Voice Tweet is to be used in the same way as tweeting a text message. Tweet Composer is about to open for Voice Tweet and here you will see a new wavelength icon.

After tapping it, you will get the option to record, meanwhile your profile will be seen in the center and the record button will be seen here. You can send voice tweets after tapping. One white tweet after another will appear in the thread as a text message.

However, Voice Tweet can record up to 140 seconds of audio like a text tweet. If you have more to say, keep talking. After the limit is reached, a new voice tweet will start and a thread will be created.

According to the company, only in iOS playback will start in a new window which will be docked at the bottom of the timeline. This means that while reading the second tweet, you will be able to hear the voice tweet continuously even while scrolling.

One of the advantages of voice tweets is that you can listen to voice tweets even when doing other work. Twitter says the feature will be launched for all iOS users in the next few weeks.

The Twitter service was launched on the Internet in 2006 and has since become very popular among tech-savvy customers, especially the youth. Twitter periodically launches new features for users.
