The US space agency NASA has given a challenge. Those who complete this challenge will get a prize of Rs 26.08 lakh. The challenge is to design a toilet for astronauts going to space and the moon. This amount will be shared between the three design bests.

Astronauts on space or the moon will need a modern toilet to go to the toilet. This toilet will be light and can also be recycled well. If one completes this challenge of NASA, he can earn millions of rupees.

NASA needs to solve bathroom-related problems for its astronauts When the Apollo mission was completed in 1975, engineers described excreta discharge as a serious challenge to space travel.

The best design will get Rs 15 lakh, second place winner will get Rs 7.60 lakh and third place winner will get Rs 3.80 lakh. NASA will send a woman to the moon for the first time in 2024 through its Artemis Moon mission. Teva will need a unisex toilet.

The deadline to send designs to NASA for this challenge is August 17th. The result will be announced in October. The toilet should be suitable for working in microgravity and lunar gravity. NASA plans to build a base camp on the moon. So that astronauts can stay there longer so that such a toilet may be needed.

NASA has named this challenge Lunar Lou. Space toilets are already being used, NASA said in a statement. NASA will conduct research from the moon to Mars under the Artemis mission. NASA is also preparing a Human Landing System program for this.
