Google Mobility Report: The people of this state strictly followed the lockdown!

The country-world lockdown is going on due to the transition of the core due to which people are imprisoned in their own homes, although the movement of people has not stopped completely but has decreased. Now the question is how much has decreased in the movement of people. Google has answered this question in its new mobility report. Let's find out
Google has released a new report that divides into categories such as retail and re-creation, grocery and pharmacy, parks, transit stations, workplaces and residential. The report says how little people in the above category have left their homes. Google's data is compared between March 28 and May 9 with data from January 3 to February 6.
Retail and Re-Creation - First of all, retail and re-creation includes activities such as hotels, cafes, shopping malls, libraries, movie theaters and museums. Lockdown has led to an 80 per cent reduction in these activities.
Grocery and Pharmacy - Grocery and pharmacy categories include grain grocery stores, snack shops, farmers, markets. People are rushing out of the house for rations and medicine, because life without rations and medicine is inconceivable. However, there has also been a 32 per cent drop in people leaving the house for rations and medicine.
The park-park category includes national parks, public beaches, public parks, etc., in which people's activity has decreased by 62 per cent.
Transit station - This includes public transport. There was no movement of people here till March 31, but now it is increasing. From March 28 to March 9, public attendance on public transport was 57 percent lower.
Workplace - Due to the lockdown, most people are working from home and work is closed in companies where it is not possible to work from home. The number of people going to work has decreased by 49 per cent compared to January-February.
Residential - People are working from home due to lockdown. Between March 28 and May 9, the number of people staying at home increased by 25 percent. Gujarat has witnessed the largest increase in the number of people living at home with a growth of 33 per cent which is the highest of any other state. This means that the lockdown is being strictly followed in Gujarat.
