Employees of Google and Facebook will work from home until December

United States, Ta. Saturday 09 May 2020

Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai recently said that Google's office will not open until June one. Google and Facebook are allowing their employees to work from home by the end of 2020. Google had earlier told all employees by email that it was not possible to come to the office before June but has now decided to extend the work-from-home period.

Speaking of Facebook, Facebook's office will open on July 6, but the work-from-home policy will apply until the end of December. During this time employees will only need to come to the office for necessary work. Regarding Work from Home, a Facebook spokesperson said that employees who can continue their work away from the office can take advantage of Work from Home by the end of the year.

Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai also said that employees who can work from home can do their work from home till the end of the year but those whose work cannot be done without coming to the office can start coming to the office from July 4.

A few days ago Sundar Pichai sent an email to Google employees in which he said that it would be shocking for employees to come to the office after working at home for a long time, but this is not possible before June one.

Pichai has issued a special order for his employees to take care of himself as well as family members. He said that those who have any problem with the family should not come to the office immediately. For that they talk to their manager and work from home as per convenience.

Pichai wrote in a mail sent to employees that not everyone would go to the office together and that the office would have a separate space for all with different guidelines. I know you will have some questions about coming to the office. Google is the first tech company to offer its employees the convenience of working from home.
