Disney Stop Password Sharing: Not good news for you if you are an OTT watcher. After Netflix, now the popular OTT platform Disney+ has announced to stop password sharing facility. However, the company has currently asked Canada users not to share their passwords with others. This announcement will also be made for other countries in the coming time.

Disney+ now via Netflix

OTT content is very popular in India. Until now, users used to take a single subscription and share it with their friends and relatives across multiple devices. Due to which many people are using various OTT services. But less than two of them spend money on subscriptions.

So now OTT companies are trying to stop this practice. In July this year, Netflix stopped the password sharing facility for Indian users outside their home. Then Disney+ is also going to follow the path today.

Disney+ has disabled this feature for these users

Starting November 1, Canadian users can no longer share their passwords with people outside their home. They announced this change by sending an e-mail to their users.

According to a report in 'The Verge', a mail was sent by the company which said, We are closing the facility of login friendly sharing outside your home. Apart from this, it is written in the company's updated help center that you cannot share your membership outside your home.
