Russia's spacecraft Luna-25 on its way to the moon, the first mission after 47 years

Moscow, August 11, 2023, Friday

Russia's Luna 25 spacecraft, which is as capable as America and China in space technology and research, has reached the moon. India's Chandrayaan has been sent on a moon mission, if all goes well it will land on the surface of the moon within a few days. India has sent a spacecraft to the moon for soft landing and study.

Before India's Chandrayaan-3, Russia has sent its own spacecraft into space for the first time in 47 years. Along with this, Russia's Luna 25 will become a neighbor of India's Chandrayaan 3 in research on the Moon. Luna is Russia's first lunar mission since 1976. At that time, there was a conflict between America and the United Soviet Union of Russia (USSR).

The Luna spacecraft will land on the Moon's south pole in five to seven days. It will take 3 to 7 days to select the right place for landing. India has sent a spacecraft to the moon for soft landing and study. Alexander Blokhin, a senior Roscosmos official, said in a statement that the first lunar landing in history would take place on the South Pole. Most spacecraft to date land on the equator of the Moon.

The Russian space agency believes that Luna will land on the moon around August 25-21. India's space agency ISRO congratulated Russia's space agency for the Luna mission. The meeting of India's Chandrayaan 3 and Russia's Luna 25 on the moon is a spectacular event. However, the craft of both the countries will not interfere in each other's work. Both have plans to land in different areas. America, China, Russia and India are the only 4 countries in the world that have succeeded in landing on the moon so far.
