WhatsApp's AI chatbot set to join ChatGPT
WhatsApp, which soon aims to pair with AI chatbot ChatGPT to facilitate access to key government schemes, and an ambitious national-level program that aims to create massive crowdsourced datasets by combining different local language samples with Indian voices.
A team from the Ministry of Electronics and IT is building a WhatsApp-based chatbot to connect with the "Bashini" mission. which will rely on information generated by ChatGPT to provide appropriate answers to questions. The main reason for this is that this type of facility is being developed for the users, especially the farmers in rural areas. If they are not able to type their questions, they can put the questions to the chatbot using voice notes.
What is the "Speaker" mission?
Under Digital India, various services are being made available to the common citizens of India at home. Recently, on the occasion of the inauguration of "Digital India" week-2022, various digital applications were dedicated to the country by the Prime Minister of India Narendrabhai Modi from Gandhinagar, one of which is Bhashini. Bhashini aims to provide easy access to internet and digital services to all Indians in their own local language and to increase content in Indian languages. Bhashini includes Hindi and English among the total 22 constitutional Indian languages including Gujarati, out of which the work on 11 languages has been completed, while the work on the remaining 11 languages is in progress.
