Mars will come closer to the earth, tomorrow there will be wonderful views in the sky

New delhi date. 05 October 2020, Monday

Mars will come very close to Earth under an astronomical event in space tomorrow. The astronomical event will take place at 7:47 pm Indian time in which Mars will pass a distance of 6,20,83,116 kilometers from the Earth. According to Raghunandan Kumar, Director, Planetary Society of India (PSI), the astronomical event is due to an astronomical event called 'Mars Opposition to Sun' which will take place 26 months later. Under this strange astronomical phenomenon Mars and the Sun will be opposite each other.

From Earth's point of view these three planets will come in a straight line. Director Kumar said that whenever a planet comes in opposition to the Sun, it comes close to the Earth. That is why Mars will be seen very close to Earth, bright and very large. Mars can be seen through binoculars. In general, the shortest distance from Earth to Mars is 55.7 million kilometers while the longest distance is 401.3 million kilometers.

"October 2020 is the best time for the general public to get a closer look at Mars," the PSI director said. Then 13 years later in June 2033 such an astronomical event will take place when Mars will be closest to Earth. Ordinary people will be able to see Mars in the sky until next week without the help of any device. Half an hour after sunset in the evening, people will be able to see Mars in the sky.
