Every 100 years there has been an epidemic like the Corana in the last 200 years. According to this practice, people used to whip their own body 3 times in 1 day for 3 days. Gradually this practice became very prevalent in Europe and America which later took a religious form. In the 19th century, a disease known as the Black Death was later discovered to be a plague caused by the Yersinia pestis virus. This medieval plague was at the root of all kinds of modern pathogenic plague.

An examination of medieval corpses in a London cemetery revealed that people at the time did not have the ability to cope with the virus responsible for the Black Death.
