It is impossible to imagine nature without water, forest and land. If there is a forest, there is a wild animal. If there is water then aquatic life exists and for us water is life. It is the richest country in the world with ample water, forest and land. Our country is world famous for its rivers, forests and wildlife. Only when nature is safe can life survive. And World Nature Conservation Day is celebrated on 28th July every year for the purpose of nature awareness.
Significance of World Nature Conservation Day
Awareness about the protection of natural resources is spread among people all over the world through this day. A healthy environment is the foundation of a stable and productive society and World Nature Conservation Day is also based on such ideas. The significance of this day is also that only through nature conservation can the present time and the future of future generations be secured and welfare ensured.
Purpose of World Nature Conservation Day
The purpose of World Nature Conservation Day is to take necessary steps for the conservation of nature. It is because of the imbalances in nature that we have to deal with natural disasters. Problems like global warming, epidemics, natural disasters, rising temperatures, etc. are due to imbalances in nature. The country is already battling the Koro epidemic and several states are facing natural problems such as floods. There have been a number of earthquakes in the last few days and the possibility of further ones is being speculated. We should conserve and preserve nature with some small efforts.
What should be done for nature conservation?
- Forests should not be cut down. At most trees should be planted.
- Use water only when needed.
- Arrange for rainwater harvesting to restore groundwater.

- Walk as far as possible and use more bicycles.
- Use less canned items.
- Promote techniques to improve the climate.
- Use techniques and accessories that have a positive relationship with nature. As such, use organic manure instead of fertilizer on the farm.
If we make such efforts our habit, then this effort will prove to be very helpful in the direction of nature conservation.
