NASA has recently been focusing on meteorites that are rapidly moving towards Earth. Its size is too big. It is being reported that its length may be even longer than the Empire State Building. The meteorite will pass near Earth orbit this week.

NASA has named this meteorite Rock-163348 (2002 NN4). Which is moving at a speed of about 5.2 kilometers per second. It is hoped that it will pass very close to the Earth's surface on June 6.

The length of the meteorite can be between 250 meters and 570 meters (820 feet and 1870 feet). Whereas, the length of the Empire State Building is (443 m or 1453 ft) and the length of the London Eye (135 m or 443 ft). The meteorite is longer than these two buildings.

NASA has classified this meteorite as an Ethan asteroid, which is passing through the sun and entering Earth orbit. Scientists believe that the passage of this meteorite is not a matter of danger. He says there is no possibility of it colliding with the earth. However, scientists are keeping an eye on it. How many times a meteorite enters Earth's orbit due to gravity.

NASA says the Rock-163348 (2002 NN4) meteorite will pass through Earth at 8:20 a.m. Sunday. The speed of this meteorite is 5.2 kilometers per second. That means it's coming at a speed of 11,200 miles per hour. Scientists say that in the year 2024, such a large meteorite will pass near the Earth's orbit.

It is worth mentioning that on May 21, 2020, a 1.5 km long meteorite passed very close to the Earth's orbit.
