Twitter brought work feature, users will be able to pull the reins on reply

San Francisco, Ta. May 21, 2020, Thursday

Micro-blogging website Twitter is going to launch a new feature. Twitter users will now be able to decide who can reply to their tweets. The company has been working on this feature for a long time. However, if you tweet normally, anyone can reply.

After the launch of Twitter's new feature, you can also tweet something that can only be liked or retweeted. Even now there is a feature in which you can lock the tweet but after doing so you cannot retweet the tweet.

The company has released this feature for Hala Limited users. It will soon be released to all users worldwide.

How the feature will work

Twitter says that while tweeting, users will get three options, Everyone, only people you follow, people you mention, whichever you choose.

Everyone - Every user can reply to your tweet by selecting it. In the second option only people you follow, only those you can follow can reply. In the third option people you mention, only those users will be able to reply. You have tagged or mentioned it in the tweet.

Select one of the last two options and immediately the Reply icon at the bottom of the tweet will turn gray and will be disabled. However, you can retweet and like this tweet along with retweeting and commenting.

Notably, Twitter Reply recently launched the Hyde feature. Under it you can hide any reply made to your tweet.
