There is a very indifferent attitude towards cyber money fraud in our country. On the one hand , we have a keen interest in chatting about nonsense in WhatsApp , but we are not particularly interested in knowing why fraud occurs , why it is avoided, etc. , so as not to lose our hard earned money in conversation . On the other hand , due to such an attitude, if someone loses money by getting involved in fraud, ' that money is gone , now come back a little ?' Such is our attitude.
But this writer has also had the experience of someone in his immediate circle being a victim of a cyber money fraud and quickly (without any identification) getting back the amount lost in the fraud if complaint action was taken to the bank and cyber crime cell. Even though months have passed , the amount has been returned!
Therefore , we cannot afford to be complacent about cyber money fraud - both before and after. Before the fraud , if you are not interested in knowing about it, there is a net risk of becoming a victim of the fraud and after the fraud, if you assume that ' it happened, it happened ' , the chances of getting back the money lost are reduced and future risks remain!
In the year 2004, October started to be celebrated as ' Cybersecurity Awareness Month ' in the United States and now throughout the world special attention is paid to spread awareness about cyber fraud during this month. This month marks twenty years since the celebration began.
While cyber security is a very broad topic and we in the ' technoworld ' often talk about its various aspects , for today , let's focus on what to do after a cyber money fraud.
Disable your bank cards
Still many people are hesitant to install their bank's app on their smartphones or take advantage of netbanking. But availing such facilities has less risk and more convenience and safety. For example, if cyber fraud happens to you in any way, first of all you can block your debit/credit card manually by opening the bank app in your phone. In fact, under normal circumstances you can keep the card disabled when not in use. From here how much amount can be withdrawn from ATM , how much amount can be paid during online payment , how much can be paid in store , whether contactless payment can be done etc. limit can be set manually. All these things can be set for both domestic and international use.
Even if the bank offers you a higher amount facility, more security can be gained by keeping a limited limit or blocking the card altogether. If you have the habit of blocking the card or setting the limit yourself, it can be easily blocked in case of cyber fraud.
In many cases the gannets attack the prey on the day or the evening before a bank holiday. So that it becomes difficult to take steps like blocking the card by contacting the bank. In this case , blocking the card will be easier if you have installed the bank's app in the phone.
Contact the bank
Nature forbid , but if cyber fraud happens to you, you can contact the bank immediately, right ?
If the bank is nearby and there are working hours, it is imperative to reach the bank yourself. But if there is a bank holiday or evening time ? Or when you are out of town and find out that a large amount has been withdrawn from your account ? You have saved the helpline number of the bank right ?
This number is like a fire extinguisher. It may not work every day , but it should be handy when needed. Hence, instead of waiting for cyber fraud to happen, it is to our advantage to meet the bank in person at the branch or know its helpline number from the official site of the bank and save it.
When a cyber fraud occurs, one should give as much details as possible regarding the fraud by visiting the bank in person or by calling the correct helpline number. Apart from this, also insist on making a written complaint to the bank and getting the receipt of the complaint received from the bank.
Bank will mark the credit card transaction as ' disputed transaction ' if you have been involved in any kind of credit card fraud . In this case we have to pay the card bill but if the case is resolved then wrongly charged or used amount can be refunded.
Complaining on the National Portal of Government of India
Government of India has launched ' National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal ' to register cyber crime complaints .
By going to this portal ( https://cybercrime.gov.in/ ) we can lodge a complaint of cyber fraud committed against us. The portal provides details on various types of cyber fraud and how to file a complaint. Here , a complaint can be lodged even without providing personal details when cyber fraud is committed against women and children.
To register a complaint of other types of cybercrime, we have to register on the portal by giving our name and Indian mobile number. Mobile number is verified through OTP.
Along with the complaint, we need credit card receipt , bank statement , online money transfer receipt , email copy , URL of the webpage from which the fraud occurred , screenshots of the chat with the fraudster , screenshots of the call record of the mobile number from which the fraud occurred , any kind of video. That image or other document can be given as evidence.
After our complaint is successfully registered on the portal we get its confirmation.
This is a national portal , but after filing a complaint on it, the investigation of our case will be conducted by the police of that state or union territory. Under ' Report and Track ' option one can check the status of complaint investigation. Even if there is a suspicion that someone from abroad has committed cyber fraud with us, a complaint can be filed on this portal.
Contact the cybercrime helpline or the police
If you are not able to file a complaint online, you can contact the helpline number 1930 applicable for the entire country. This number has been specially commissioned to help in cases of financial cyber fraud.
Apart from this, we can also contact the police helpline number 112. Apart from that daily police control room no. 100 and for women related matters can be contacted on 181.
Cybercrime sales have been started in different districts in various states including Gujarat. We can contact him directly or if that is not possible we can go to the nearest police station and get help then the police will transfer our case to cyber cell. In cyber fraud we need to take action as fast as possible.

Many people have this question. The short answer is that it can certainly be used. Now the question should be whether it is necessary to have more than one account in Instagram ? Let's know the answer to this question in a little more detail and also talk about how to take advantage of multiple accounts in Instagram.
More than one billion people are active on Instagram every month all over the world. In terms of social media, Instagram's reach is overwhelming. That's why Instagram is one of the most favorite platforms for people who want to reach millions of people!
But Instagram users have a peculiarity. On this platform, users prefer to follow accounts that focus on a particular topic. For example, if an account shares cooking recipes and also gives beauty tips, people are not particularly interested in such an account. Similarly, people do not show much interest in accounts that share stories about insurance along with stock market-mutual funds. There is a dominance of specialization in the whole world, so why not on Instagram ? Hence accounts with a sharp focus on just one thing become popular faster on Insta.
This is why the Instagram company allows people to create five different accounts on its platform. The good thing is that when we are logged in from one account in the Instagram app, we don't need to logout from the account first to switch to another account. We can switch accounts quickly.
The process of opening multiple accounts in Instagram is similar to creating the first account.
Then , to connect multiple accounts in Instagram, go to the profile page by clicking on your profile picture in the Insta app.
Click on your username at the top right here. If you don't have more than one account, you will get an opportunity to create a new account. After creating a new account , click on ' Log in to existing account ' right here . Enter the username and password of the new account you want to connect from the previously added accounts and login.
Then the same procedure is to be done to switch different accounts in Instagram. Go to the profile page by clicking on your profile picture in the app. Click on your username here. Now select the account you want to switch to!

Do you think cyber money fraud is increasing in India ? Do you believe that people in India are not educated enough or they don't know how to do things online, so they get scammed ?
Both your opinions may be true , but not only in India. The statistics that have come out in Australia in this regard are shocking. According to the latest report of the ' Australian Competition and Consumer Commission ' , a government organization of Australia , Australians lost a total of 3 billion dollars due to online fraud in one year of 2022 alone!
This proportion is 80 percent more than the previous year i.e. 2021. Not only that , the proportion of educated youth is high among the victims of such fraud!
Scammers in Australia were most likely to use text messages (33 percent) , followed by phone calls (29 percent) and images (22 percent). Most of these scams used lure of good investment , dating romance , false billing , phishing , remote access , fear of life or arrest , job lure , online shopping etc.
What is the lesson for us ? As anyone can become a victim of online fraud , always be suspicious of everything you see on the internet , be aware of new fraud methods, and keep your accounts safe with two-factor authentication and strong passwords.

Read on if you are a little confused in Excel - To select all the text in the entire document in Word, we use Ctrl+A We can take the help of the key. Similarly, Ctrl+A can be used in Excel as well. If you have created a table of data, placing the cursor in it and pressing Ctrl+A will select the data , Ctrl+A a second time. than the table headers will also be selected and pressing Ctrl+A a third time will select the entire spreadsheet (the entire spreadsheet can also be selected by clicking the upper left-most corner of the spreadsheet).
You must have noticed many times that after entering various data in the column, our data cannot be read completely due to the small width of the column. When data cannot be read in more than one such column due to insufficient width, instead of doing the exercise of widening all the columns one by one , you can select all the columns you want to widen at once by double-clicking on the line between any two columns in the header . The column will simultaneously become the correct width.
Similarly , if you frequently need to enter today's date in an Excel file, there is no need to check the date in the lower right corner of the computer screen every time. Just Ctrl+ with the cursor in that cell ; After entering the key, the date of that day will appear there , but this date changes every day , that is, if you want to see the current data in the cell, you can = TODAY() in that cell. can write Then when you open that file it will show the date of the day. Understand the difference between the two!
