Two WhatsApp in one phone!


All of our online lives are divided into two parts, personal and professional. Many people keep two phones or at least two SIM cards in one phone to keep these two things separate. We also have separate Gmail addresses for home and office use. As we know recently, five different accounts can be created and connected simultaneously in Instagram. In all these online services we can easily use different accounts in smartphones. The app for everything remains the same , but we can switch our account in it with the gesture of a finger (a side note - if you have more than one Google account in your smartphone, swipe up or down with your finger on your profile picture that appears in the right corner of each Google service. Your account will be switched!).

Among all these , only WhatsApp was a service in which it was possible to use a single account in a single smartphone. If we have separate WhatsApp accounts for personal and business use, we can't get away without having two phones!

Now the matter has changed. WhatsApp can be used on two different phone numbers simultaneously in the same phone. No need to install any other third party app for this.

If your WhatsApp app is updated to the latest version and has this feature, open the WhatsApp app and go to Settings. Go to ' Account ' here . It will show the option of ' Ad Account ' . Clicking it will show your original WhatsApp account and the option to add a new account with it. By clicking it you can add and connect your WhatsApp account with another number. Remember that by doing this , you will also be logged out of WhatsApp on the other phone. After backing up the other WhatsApp data to Google Drive, transfer it to the new phone.

Also , it is possible to add a business account along with your personal account , but then the business account will be converted to personal and many business account details will be lost. Account switching is also relatively slow. This feature is currently being added to Android only.
