Microsoft Teams likely to get a glimpse of Metaverse


If you use Microsoft Teams, you'll get a glimpse of the coming metaverse. The company has decided to give a touch of metaverse to users' avatars in the premium version of Microsoft Chimes. According to the company, in the next two years, about 51 percent of Generation Z will be working in the Metaverse. To give a glimpse into that time, the company is launching ' mesh avatars ' where people involved in team meetings can stay digitally connected to the meeting even if they step away from the camera for a while.

So far we have known Microsoft's Word , Excel , PowerPoint , Outlook, etc. programs as Microsoft Office programs. But now after 30 years these programs are likely to get a new name. Accordingly, the names of the various programs will remain the same but their umbrella brand name will be changed from ' Microsoft Office ' to ' Microsoft 365 ' !

Both Microsoft and Google are known for frequently changing the names of their various services. After confusing Office programs , Live Platform , Microsoft 365 etc., Microsoft seems to have decided to adopt a single name ' Microsoft 365 ' for all. Along with this, the company is also likely to change its logo and features. The Office app for Windows , iOS and Android is likely to get a new avatar in January next year.
