Tech News : Attempt to recharge mobile with human body heat


A researcher from Indian Institute of Technology - Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) has found a new way to charge our smartphones. In June last year, he announced that work was underway on a special type of thermonuclear material. Now an article has been published in a German scientific journal about this discovery.

An associate professor at IIT-Mandi's School of Physical Sciences gave more details about this in a post on the X platform last week. According to him, this material can convert human body heat into electricity. If this material is used in a device, when a human touches it, the device starts charging by converting human body heat into electricity. This material can charge almost any electronic gadget. Experiments for this so far have shown that the device can receive significant amounts of voltage from human touch thanks to this material. If this invention can be turned into a commercial product in the future, it can definitely revolutionize the field of renewable energy and device charging.
