For both convenience and security, it is essential that our smartphone has an internet connection constantly on. If the internet connection is on, different apps can keep connecting in the background and these apps can continue to do their work on their own. This was a matter of convenience. Apart from this, only if the internet connection is on in the phone, in the event that it is lost, we can lock it or erase the data completely. For such safety reason also it is necessary to keep the internet connectivity on constantly in the smartphone.

You know that in mobile or other devices we can get internet connection in two ways - one , through data plan of mobile company and two , through Wi-Fi. Now the data connection in the mobile has become very cheap , but if there is also the facility of Wi-Fi connection, then the connection is faster and you don't have to worry about the mobile data cost!

Now mostly all of us are getting Wi-Fi facility both at home and office. Apart from these two places, we have to get internet connectivity in smartphones on mobile data only when we are on the road or in other places.

The funny thing is that when we get Wi-Fi connectivity, we can simply put the smartphone on and switch on it ourselves. We can make settings that automatically turn on Wi-Fi connectivity in the device when we reach home or office. For that let's know the steps in different devices.
