WhatsApp is adding a feature to pin important messages


The marriage season is over now but those days you must have experienced this sometimes - you get a message on WhatsApp with the invitation of a reception and its location but when we actually get into the car to go there, we have to struggle to find that message. WhatsApp has now made this task very easy.

Now we can ' pin ' messages from any person or group . Hence the message will stick to the header in the chat! Also, on the home screen of WhatsApp , if you have pinned a message in a person or group chat, you will also see a note saying ' You Pind a Message ' . Of course, currently only one message can be pinned to a person or group at a time in WhatsApp. We can pin any type of message.

You must have realized that Telegram and iMessage services have such a facility to pin messages.

To pin any message in Android, long press the message and click on the three dot menu on the right corner of the screen. Now click on ' Pin ' . So the message will reach the top of the chat list , below the name of the person or group. In Apple devices, messages can be pinned by swiping to the right. We can also decide how long we want to pin a message in WhatsApp. For that we will get 24 hours , 7 hours or 30 days option. By default the seven days option will be selected.
