India's Pragyan and Chinese rover Yutu-2 will meet on the moon! It is so far from rover..

The Pragyan rover has started operations on the lunar surface after coming out of Chandrayaan-3's Vikram lander. The special thing then is that China's Yutu 2 rover is also working on the moon. Then there are questions that whether the two rovers will face each other or not? India's Pragyan rover and China's Yutu 2 rover are currently operating on the moon. China sent its rover to the moon in 2019.

What is the distance between the two rovers?

On 3 January 2019, Chang E-4 was landed in the Von Karman Crater in the South Pole-Attican Basin by China. According to the American space agency NASA, the coordinates of the landing are at 45.4561 South Latitude and 177.5885 East Longitude.

While Chandrayaan-3 planned to land at 69.367621 South and 32.348126 East. According to the Indian Space Agency ISRO, Chandrayaan-3 has landed in its designated area.

Syed Ahmed of XDLINX in Hyderabad said that the distance between the two rovers is about 1948 km. While another informant Shanmuga Subramaniam estimated that the distance between the two rovers is 1890 km. Along with this, he also said that it has happened for the first time that two rovers from Earth are on the moon together.

Will the two rovers meet?

The chances of the two rovers coming in front of each other are now slim. The Pragyan rover is just 500 meters from the Vikram lander near the South Pole. While China's rover is around the landing site. The Pragyan rover will work on the Moon for one day i.e. 14 Earth days. While Yutu-2 has been operating on the Moon since 2019.
