The smartphone will also recognize when we are flying

If you use a service like Google Fit to track how many steps you walk in a day, you will know that our smartphones ' smartly ' know when we are walking and when we are going on a scooter or car! By sensing our pace, Google Fit app counts our steps only when we are walking.

Be prepared for a shock - now Google is preparing to recognize when we are flying!

Now the company has filed a patent application for a new technology. Accordingly, if we sit in a plane and then our speed and height from the ground change , air pressure decreases around us and certain sounds are heard around us, our smartphone will recognize that we are sitting on a flight and as a result the flight mode in the phone will be automatically activated!

Now we have to activate airplane mode manually. After that, all types of connectivity in the phone are turned off , i.e. mobile network , Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are also turned off. Then , if we want, we can reactivate Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity even when Airplane Mode is on. This happens in both Android and iPhone.

The fun of the new technology that Google is developing is that after the flight mode is automatically turned on, the connectivity of GPS , cellular data etc. will be stopped but Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will continue. However, this is not the only reason why Google develops new technology. While on our flight, the phone will connect to the plane's in-flight Wi-Fi network and treat it like any other routine Wi-Fi network, resulting in more bandwidth-intensive tasks like backing up photos. Although this is the stage of the patent application , there is no word on when the feature will actually arrive.
